The snow season
A plow crew that knows where the lawn is
November through March: the driveway plowed past the trigger depth, the walk cleared and salt where it's needed.
Snow work runs on a route, in a set order. The agreement names your stop, the trigger depth and what we clear, so a snowfall isn't a guessing game.

Snow terms
What the snow agreement says, in plain numbers
Every term below is written into the agreement you sign.
Trigger depth
We plow when snow reaches 2 inches at your address. Below that, we salt if the pavement is icy.
Your place on the route
Routes run in a set order. The agreement says which stop you are, so there's no guessing.
What we plow and salt
The driveway and the front walk to the door. Salt goes down after each visit, as needed.
What we don't do
Roofs, decks, stairs and mailbox-side banks left by the city plow, unless the agreement lists them.
When agreements close
Once the route is full, new agreements wait for next season. Fall sign-up closes before the first snow.
What isn't promised
Bare pavement during a storm. We clear after the snow slows and come back if it keeps falling.
Gear on the route
What shows up on a snow day

A truck with a plow
For driveways. It pushes, then stacks snow where the agreement says it can go.

A blower for the walk
Front walks and tight spots a truck can't reach.

Salt, spread after
Rock salt goes on after plowing, not before, so it works on the pavement and not the snow.
What decides the price
What moves the snow price
Driveway length and width
Length decides how many passes and how much snow we stack.
Walks and steps
A front walk is on the plan. A back path, a patio or steps are lines on the quote.
Where the snow can go
A wide lawn takes a pile. A narrow lot means moving snow farther or hauling it.
Per push or for the season
A seasonal contract is one number for the winter. Per push bills each time we plow.
Snow questions
Questions about the snow route
How do I know when you're coming?
Your agreement names your stop on the route. On a snow day we text you when we're on your street.
Do you plow before I leave for work?
We start before dawn on snow days, but we can't promise a time. Early stops on the route are cleared first.
What if the city plow buries my driveway end?
We clear it on our visit. The bank at the road is plowed again if it's refilled while we're there.
Can I pay per push instead of by the season?
Yes, with an agreement that bills each push. The seasonal plan is one number for the winter.
What do I do before the first snowfall?
Mark the driveway edges with stakes, move cars off the pavement and tell us about drains, sprinkler heads and low spots.
Get on the route before the first snow
Text the address and a photo of the driveway. We'll say where you'd sit on the route.
