The snow-day line

Who answers when it's snowing

On snow days the line is open 4 a.m. to 9 p.m. A person answers: Raven, Stefania or the dispatcher for the day.

Call or text to ask where you are on the route, to report ice on a walk or to say a car is in the way. The line doesn't take new agreements on a storm day. Text the address and we'll answer when the plows are in.

What it costs

  • Agreement holders: calls and texts cost nothing extra

  • No agreement: a one-time push is quoted by text before we go

  • Outside snow days: the office hours in the footer

On a snow day

What happens, in order

  1. Step 1: We plow in route order

Your stop is on the agreement. Early stops are cleared first.

  2. Step 2: We text when we're on your street

So you can move a car or open a gate.

  3. Step 3: We clear, salt and move on

    Driveway, front walk, then salt.

  4. Step 4: We come back if it keeps falling

A second pass is part of the visit when snow keeps coming after we leave.
